What We Believe
GOD is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three manifestations: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

MAN is made in the image of God. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although God designed man to have fellowship with him, man became alienated from God through disobedience. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. Man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own efforts.

ETERNITY Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation. When you die, you will either spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Eternal separation from God happens in Hell. Eternal union with God occurs in Heaven.

JESUS CHRIST is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

SALVATION is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

THE BIBLE is God’s Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

Pastor David
Pastor David received the Lord as a young married man in 1976, and, after serving for a number of years in various capacities as a lay leader in his church, he left the business world and entered pastoral ministry in 1994. He was ordained in December of 1995 as an associate pastor of Faith Christian Center in Seekonk, MA where he took over as senior pastor in 2000.
In 2010, Pastor David and his wife Ann began a new church work in North Smithfield, RI, which was known as Impact Church. In 2015 Impact Church merged with Praise Tabernacle of Cranston, RI and became a satellite location of Praise Tabernacle.
Pastor David believes strongly in the power God’s Word has to positively change lives and equip people to make a difference in the world around them.
With his supportive wife of 45 years they have raised 3 children and have 4 grandchildren. They currently reside in Lincoln, RI and are both lifelong RI residents.
Pastor Les
Pastor Les has spent most of his ministry working with teens as a youth pastor in Providence since 1986 at Allen AME and Cathedral of Life. Part of his ministry was working the streets with gangs and drug dealers as well as going to the RI Training School working with both the guys and girls units as well as the ACI.
He has worked as a trainer in Kingian Nonviolence since 1995 after witnessing a murder and has trained internationally and throughout the US and in every Providence school. He has also taught science and math in Providence schools. He started his IT business in 1996 where he still works as well as being an actor in Screen Actors Guild (SAG)
Recently he has been working in Haiti missions at the Hope Center Orphanages.
He is originally from Pittsburgh, a son of a pastor and married to his wife Obed since 2004, they met in Medellin, Colombia while he trained Nonviolence.
