Greetings Everyone,
When I think of the Gospel, I never think of just the four Gospels, or of Jesus’ words in red, or of just the New Testament, but rather, I think of it as being the whole from Genesis to Revelation. You cannot have the unfolding of the New Testament revelation without the basis of the Old Testament knowledge and wisdom.
Along those lines, God has told us that Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly! I could never understand those who only think of struggles and suffering when it came to God’s magnificent Word. Yes, and clearly there is a place for us to “pick up our cross and follow Him,” but there is also the place of Shalom, of peace for the child of God, of wholeness and wellness. God’s Word is teeming with LIFE.
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-22
That word “health” in the Hebrew literally means “medicine.” God’s Word to us is medicine to our flesh. He desires that you walk in wholeness, spirit, soul and body. God never intended for man to be sick or depressed or broken, all of that was a result of Adam’s horrible choice and disobedience. When we see Jesus in the earth, we never see Him turn someone away, He always brought the life that they needed, whether it was a physical healing or forgiveness of the spirit and soul. Jesus always sought to make the person whole.
We know that if Jesus did it, whatever it was, it was from the Father above.
Then Jesus said to them, “When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things.
John 8:28
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38
Press into your God; seek Him with all of your heart. Don’t hear Him or see Him through religious eyes but rather spend time in His precious Word and prayer. Ask the Father for a revelation of His love for you. If you do this, you will know in your spirit that our Father, your Father, would never seek to hurt you, would never cause you pain, and only and forever, wants nothing but the best for you. Our God is for us, He is not against us!!
Paul under the anointing of the Spirit of Revelation, wrote these words: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16
Notice that Paul said the Gospel of Christ, is the power of God to salvation (Gk. “soteria,” meaning rescue, safety, deliverance, health and salvation.)
God wants you whole my Brother or Sister, nothing missing, nothing broken! He wants you above only and not beneath, He wants you to be the head and not the tail, blessed in the city and blessed in the country, blessed coming in and blessed going out. Hallelujah!
Our God loves His children and in His wonderful grace has given to us this most glorious Gospel of Health. Receive it, believe it, embrace it and celebrate it! It is God’s gift to His children.

Pastor David received the Lord as a young married man in 1976, and, after serving for a number of years in various capacities as a lay leader in his church, he left the business world and entered pastoral ministry in 1994. He was ordained in December of 1995 as an associate pastor of Faith Christian Center in Seekonk, MA where he took over as senior pastor in 2000.
In 2010, Pastor David and his wife Ann began a new church work in North Smithfield, RI, which was known as Impact Church. In 2015 Impact Church merged with Praise Tabernacle of Cranston, RI and became a satellite location of Praise Tabernacle.
Pastor David believes strongly in the power God’s Word has to positively change lives and equip people to make a difference in the world around them.
With his supportive wife of 45 years they have raised 3 children and have 4 grandchildren. They currently reside in Lincoln, RI and are both lifelong RI residents.
